day 76: because I saw this in the craft store and took a picture of it. With my cell phone no less. Seriously. Who buys this stuff?!

day 75: on Wednesday I decided to be crafty, or home-makery, or something…. and so I baked some sugar cookies and brought them to work for Ben. He’s always asking for a visit from the peanuts so he can show them off and I thought it was a good day for stopping in. The cookies were delicious! I used this recipe

day 74: how ridiculously cute is this?! I promise I didn’t pose her 🙂

day 73: after a long weekend away there is absolutely NOTHING better than seeing your family again. I got to see Ben when I got home on Sunday night but I didn’t get to see the kids until Monday morning. They were cuter than ever and of course they had grown SO MUCH while I was gone. I can’t imagine being gone longer than four days, I already missed them like crazy!

day 72: on Sunday I got the chance to take some family portraits for a few of the local New Orleans moms. I had been dying to meet this adorable set of identical triplets – don’t you just want to give them a big squeeze?! They are so stinkin’ cute! I have to say though, after chasing them around the park and attempting (and failing for the most part) to get them to all sit or stand together long enough to get a decent shot of all three…. there is no way I would survive as a mom of triplets. Hats off to all you moms of higher order multiples. You must be superwomen 🙂

day 71: since the mom’s weekend away was all moms of twins or triplets and there were 30 some odd moms in attendance we had almost 70 kids among us. Luckily they were all home (most of them with their daddys) or else it would have been chaos. Everyone in their matching green shirts (and my sad homemade one)

day 70: our first stop on Friday morning? Beignets at Cafe du Monde of course! YUM!!

day 69: when I arrived at the house in New Orleans a lot of the moms had already made it into town and settled in. I was greeted at the door by a mob of screaming, squealing and hugging women, most of them wielding cameras to catch all the action. It was a bit overwhelming to say the least!

day 68: on Wednesday both Amelia and Paul were looking decidedly less sick and both Ben and my mom were successful in convincing me that the kids would be ok staying with grandma while I was gone. I packed everyone up and headed down to drop them off so that I could go on my mom’s weekend away. The weekend trip was to New Orleans and all of the moms going ordered matching shirts to wear to the St. Patrick’s day parade on Saturday but mine didn’t arrive in time (stupid shirt… grr) so I made my own at the last minute. Go ahead and laugh.

day 67: on Tuesday Amelia went from not feeling well to REALLY not feeling well. I had brought them into the doctor to get them checked out just to double check that there weren’t any serious issues or ear infections since I was supposed to go down to drop them off on Wednesday at my mom’s. As soon as we got back to the house poor little Amelia broke out in a fever and was miserable the rest of the day. My poor little lady. I was in a panic that the trip would have to be canceled.
