day 315 : Kate & Jon are in town for the weekend… they got in last night and almost immediately Ben & Kate started going through our bookshelves. I haven’t had time to read lately so it’s good that someone’s putting them to use 🙂
day 314 : What a frustrating day!! This morning I realized that the contact form on my website had quit working… I wasn’t getting any incoming mail. When I finally got it working (at least I think it’s working but I’m not quite sure what was wrong with it) my blog header on my other blog now quit working. Boo! I swear that computers are working on some kind of voodoo because I didn’t lay a finger on the blog layout and it was working just fine this morning… now… not so much. If any of you computer geniuses out there want to check it out and give suggestions I’d be quite happy to hear them. Otherwise I might just have to chuck something at my computer.
day 311 : I bought my new computer back in early September, but I’ve been putting off buying speakers for some reason… I guess it’s because I’m cheap and I just hate spending money. Well I finally broke down and bought the cheapest set I could find. Now that I have them I can’t believe I went so long without them… I can finally listen to music while I’m working, most recently Kate Nash, whose music causes me to jump around and dance in my office. No joke. I love it, go listen 🙂
day 310: Since Chris and Tara are getting married in Dallas, they decided to extend the trip out there for Emily’s wedding to include some wedding planning of their own. This afternoon we stopped by one of the venues on their list, Arlington Hall to see what it was like. After looking around for a bit and grabbing a quick bite to eat we were back on a plane, and home in LA. What an exhausting weekend!
day 309: What a fantastic day! Jean drove all the way out from Houston so that she could hang out with Tara and I (and all the fam of course). I was so excited to see her since it’s been forever since we’ve gotten together. I made her get in front of my camera for a few minutes, even though it was freezing outside. Thanks Jean! It was so fabulous to see you and I definitely need to schedule my next trip to visit you.
After Jean left we went to my cousin’s wedding and reception. It was such a beautiful wedding and I was sad that I didn’t get to take more photos, but I wanted to stay out of the way of the hired photographer 🙂 I did however take a couple of shots of the family, and of some dancing. I got this one towards the end of the night and I think it’s so sweet! Daddy’s (and mommy’s) little girl! Congratulations Eric & Emily!
day 308: On Friday night we attended my cousin’s wedding rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. Little did my mom and Tara know they’d be put to work tying bows on the pews. They did a fabulous job and all the bows looked lovely. I was too busy taking pictures to help 🙂
day 307: I just got home from a gorgeous wedding at the Parker Meridian in Palm Springs. I’m totally exhausted and going to get on a flight tomorrow morning to Dallas (the craziness never ends) I may not be able to post any photos for the next few days, but I will be back with photos on Monday at the latest!
Day 306: Yesterday afternoon Crissy and I drove out to Palm Springs to get ready for the wedding that we shot there today. We had all of our equipment lying around so what better time to try out random fun things…. like remote flash backlighting. This picture is ridiculous. But I still like it.
